Cardiff Airport is an international airport which is owned by the Welsh Government that serves cities including Cardiff and more areas around it. It serves the rest of South, Mid and West Wales. In 2013, around 1.1 million passengers travelled using the airport, a 4% increase was noticed compared with 2012. The airport is located Rhoose, a village in Vale of Glamorgan. It is situated only 12 miles west of the Cardiff’s city centre.
